 New Orleans puts on such a good show at Christmas time!  We checked off one of our GSP bucket list items by taking a tour of Uptown and Garden District's best dressed homes, and snapping pics along the way. You can take the streetcar with its little bough of holly to see this house on St. Charles Avenue line. Decking the Halls

There is lots of hustle and bustle up and down Magazine Street in New Orleans -- with many shops housed in cottages that are perfectly trimmed.  GSP is in the museum district, without as much festive decor, so we feel a duty to be seasonal and spice up the street!  Bill, the resident deer, sports ornaments on his antlers and we add bottle brush trees around our Christmas card collection on the type cases.  Mildred continues with her greeter's duty, but with a pompom borrowed from one of our wrapped presents.   And we do it all while listening to these...
